Hello, I’m writing regarding the 30-day ban I received on CORE.ss. I want to provide context, not to dispute the rules or the system, but to explain what likely happened on my end. I had been working earlier that day on a Unity project where I was testing an AHK-based bhopping script. I did not realize the script was still running in the background after I stopped working. While playing L4D2 in coop, a few unintended key presses appear to have triggered repeated jump inputs, which visually matched bhopping behavior and resulted in the automatic ban. I understand why this is not allowed on the server, regardless of intent, and I take responsibility for not ensuring a clean environment before joining. The script has since been disabled and this won’t happen again. I enjoy playing on CORE.ss and wanted to respectfully ask if the ban could be reconsidered or reduced. If not, I understand and will accept the decision. Thank you for your time.
The "VAC" in question isn't a VAC ban. It's a "game ban" which can correlate to different reasons (e.g., censorship, muted, etc.) not always related to "cheating."
Read: "The effects of the game ban are determined by the developer ..." That part about “determined by the developer” is the key; developers choose the reason for the game ban (and it doesn’t have to be cheating). It’s not the same as a VAC ban, which is strictly anti-cheat.

Game bans are for breaking ANY rules the devs have in place for their game. Game bans are not just for cheating. Look at CS2, game bans there can be for multiple grieving offenses or account boosting, and that's on top of blatant cheating. DOTA2 players can be game banned for smurfing. So there are ways to get game banned without cheating. A game ban means you broke the rules and are being punished for it.

Расскажу на примере той же Dead By Daylight, там можно получить игровую блокировку не только за читы/эксплойты, но и за любой грифинг в отношении других игроков, бодиблоки с удержанием в заложниках или за оскорбления в чатах, и за каждое любое нарушение там дают такой бан по цепочке: 1 день, 2 дня, 7 дней, бессрочный бан (последний уже отобразится в профиле). Причем если в чате пооскорблять меньшинства, можно сразу улететь, минуя первые уровни. Личный опыт: Зажал игрока в углу, игрок помер и пожаловался - бан. Разработчики выпустили корявую карту, где ты можешь между камнями пройти, а киллер нет, и киллер нажаловался на то что тебя поймать там не может - бан. Разработчики сломали какие то аддоны, с которыми ты по совпадению как раз играл и наваливал радуясь победам - бан. И вот у меня уже все три бана, и я даже не знаю сбросился ли этот прогресс за 2 года, или же я просто получу пермач, если поучаствую в каком нибудь сраче в чате. Так что всё таки VAC - 100% показатель, а игровая блокировка - нет. Плюс разработчики просто могут побанить в других играх за удачные катки и вообще не объяснять причин бана (Hunt: Showdown - привет). If you're 100% sure the ban wasn't for cheating, go ahead and show a screenshot from a specific game, if the reason is listed there.
