I find the easiest special infected to kill is the spitter she dies faster with Auto Shotgun you don't need a spass nor scout to get the job done. I mean it would be faster with a spas but as starter the Auto shotgun will do it unless you have a melee then all of this is useless lol
I accidently found it that bosses die faster if I use awp or a lucky shot with Deagle. Can you imagine?

Melee is just better. It's not about "like" - while you're killing specials with weapon, 5 other players will jump in front of you, kill him with melee and + give you TK as a bonus.
Unless I have a Spas (or any other good weapon), always melee... any other weapon is basically a water pistol
Honestly, I think I have the easiest time killing smokers (so long as they aren't choking me to death) They don't move too much or very quickly, so headshots are easy to hit, and they are nearly always on rooftops so it's easy to shoot them without worrying about TK'ing too. They only seem to have a little more health than boomers/spitters, and unlike those two I don't need to worry about them being anywhere close to me when I kill them to avoid being bile'd or damaged by acid. I find that as long as I see the smoker before they see me, I'm able to kill them pretty easily, whereas spitters and boomers (especially the pink/orange/red) ones have a habit of creating unfortunate situations (which usually ends up with me on the floor dying) o̶r̶ ̶m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶i̶ ̶j̶u̶s̶t̶ ̶s̶u̶c̶k̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶
